I made this small folding pocket altar/shrine by hand from scratch using all upcycled materials & all hand sewing. Lots of tiny details inside and outside! I hand sewed the edges to control fraying (+ it looks lovely this way!) but fraying will still occur. This is a unique, delicate and imperfect little work of art / visual poetry.
